Brian Hartnell, Photographer/Owner
Brian Hartnell received his Photography Degree from Milwaukee Area
Technical College in June of 1971. He has worked as an in house
industrial photographer for Snap-On-Tools Corporation, Rexnord Research
& Development-West Allis and the Ansul Corporation (Tyco) from 1971 till
1991, when he opened his current studio. His experience covers large and
small studio product, catalog and advertising illustration, 35mm
training slide production, portraiture, annual reports, architectural and hazardous location photography.
Our computer software and hardware experience covers the Commodore 128, Amiga, Mac, Microsoft Dos, Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT 4, 2000, XP Home
and XP Pro.
Brian's location work has included above and below ground ore mining, off
shore drilling platforms, hospitals, ships, restaurants, hotels, shipbuilding facilities,
forest fires, indoor and outdoor factory settings. During his travels he has
photographed sites in the Panama Canal Zone, French Man Flats Utah, oil
drilling platforms off the coast of Louisiana, Alaska and Oregon Forest
Service aircraft, airports, military bases, museums and has been in 40
of the 50 states.
Being prepared for the unplanned is an industrial photographers
motto. This unique experience was a good training ground for learning
technique needed to accomplish these difficult assignments.
Ann Hartnell, Business Manager/Designer/Owner
Ann Hartnell our designer and business manager takes the creative photography
and sculpts it into a finished product. Her expertise is in photo
retouching, restoration, compositing multiple images, photo printing,
designing printed brochures,
mailers, greeting cards, sell sheets, printed support literature,
business cards, letter heads, PowerPoint training programs and logos. She can quote you finished
prints or quantities on ink jet, b&W or color laser, dye sub, pigmented
ink or mechanical printing. Selecting the right type of media for a job
is what she excels at.
You will find it rewarding to sit down with the photographer and
designer in creating that unique image. Your input is always
welcome and assists us in getting it right the first time.
